So I’ve done it.  I’ve made it through one of the hardest semesters of school.  I’ve managed to make it. I’ve learned so much and I still have so much to learn.  I was able to talk to patients, give medications, know what was going on, and feel like I was making a difference. I’ve managed to think like a nurse.  I’ve learned to hear the patient, anticipate what was coming next, think about all the needs of the patient, and wait for everything to come to me, because there will be plenty of opportunities for me.  I am so excited to learn everything to come, and I’m so excited to experience every last minute of it. 

so i walked out of that exam feeling like crying…but its okay because everyone else in the class did too. 

fell asleep while trying to study renal and GU disorders. thank god its on the diseases and not the anatomy……its going to be an interesting day in the world of med-surg….
